Grammy award-winning band The National announced their 2023 European and North American tour dates yesterday on January 18th, with Redmond, Washington listed as their ninth show in North America.

The concert will take place on June 4, 2023 at Marymoor Park, and Redmond will be the only stop in Washington state before the band moves onto Canada. The Eastside Seattle outdoor venue has a capacity of 5,000 people, and is set in Willowmoor Farm, idyllically located along the Sammamish River in the 640-acre park. Last year, the 2022 headliners at its Summer concert series included Fleet Foxes, Barenaked Ladies, and Phoebe Bridgers.

Tickets for The National’s Redmond, WA show will be sold via Ticketmaster, with pre-sale for already-verified “Cherry Tree” fan-community members starting on January 25, 2023 at 10:00 AM local time. The general public will be able to purchase their tickets starting on January 27, 2023 at 10:00 AM local time.

The National includes band members Matt Berninger, Aaron Dessner, Bryce Dessner, Bryan Devendorf, and Scott Devendorf. Last year at the 2022 Grammys, The National was nominated for Album of the Year alongside Taylor Swift for their collaboration on her album, Evermore.

The National’s 2023 tour is centered around their new album, First Two Pages of Frankenstein, which will be released on April 28, 2023. Collaborators of the upcoming album include Taylor Swift and previous Marymoor Park headliner Phoebe Bridgers. Soccer Mommy, acclaimed Nashville singer-songwriter, will be the band’s opening act for the June 4th Redmond, Washington concert.
